Product Process of Premium OEM Suits Set for Men

1

Design and Pattern Making

In this stage, fashion designers create sketches and finalize the design of the suit set. Professional pattern makers then develop paper patterns for each part—jacket, pants, and sometimes vest—based on standard sizes or custom measurements. This forms the blueprint for cutting fabric.

2

Fabric Selection and Sourcing

Choosing the right fabric is crucial for the final look and comfort of the suit. This process involves selecting materials like wool, cotton, polyester blends, or linen, depending on the season and customer requirements. The quality, weight, texture, and color of the fabric are all considered.

3

Fabric Laying and Cutting

Once the fabric is selected, it is laid out in layers on a large cutting table. Using the paper patterns made earlier, the tailor or cutting machine cuts the fabric into precise shapes and sizes for different suit parts such as sleeves, lapels, fronts, and backs.

4

Fusing

Fusing involves attaching interlining materials to certain parts of the fabric—especially collars, lapels, and front panels—to give them structure and stiffness. Heat and pressure are applied during this process using a fusing machine, which ensures a sharp, professional look for the suit.

5

Sewing Jacket Components

In this step, skilled tailors or sewing operators begin assembling the jacket. The front, back, shoulders, sleeves, and lining are sewn together. This includes adding internal elements like canvas or padding, depending on the design. Attention to detail is crucial for clean lines and symmetry.

6

Sewing Trousers or Pants

This process involves stitching the cut pieces of pants together, including attaching the waistband, pockets, fly zipper, and belt loops. Tailors must ensure symmetry, correct length, and smooth seams. The waistband and hemming are done carefully for both appearance and comfort.

7

Inserting Lining and Shoulder Pads

Lining adds comfort and smooth movement inside the jacket. Tailors sew a silky lining into the jacket’s interior. Shoulder pads are inserted to provide structure and a proper silhouette. These inner components are crucial for ensuring the jacket fits well and retains its shape.

8

Buttoning and Detailing

Buttons, buttonholes, and other details like labels, brand tags, or decorative stitching are added at this stage. The placement of buttons on the jacket sleeve and front is done precisely. Sometimes, optional extras like monogramming or custom tags are also added here.

9

Pressing and Final Shaping

Pressing gives the suit its final form. Using steam and heat, tailors press the jacket and pants to remove wrinkles and define creases. Special care is taken around lapels, pleats, and seams. This step ensures the suit has a sharp, tailored appearance when worn.

10

Quality Control and Packaging

Before shipping, each suit undergoes strict quality checks to ensure stitching, fit, symmetry, and finishing meet the required standards. Any loose threads or defects are fixed. The suit is then neatly folded or hung, packaged with tissue paper or plastic, and prepared for delivery.
